A compelling work of art that is as confounding and challenging as it is long and ambitious. In less thoughtful hands the adaptation to the screen might've been a steaming pile of new-age claptrap. Instead it is a thoughtful & philosophical symphonic poem in six movements.
2012 was a very good year in film.
