It does a killer job of establishing a setting that exists between transformations / between identities. The dynamics between the characters (as well as different characters within the characters) are almost communicated more thorugh the scene transitions than in the actual scenes.
Very successful in its experimentation. What is Chloe Moretz doing here though? She stuck out like a sore thumb.
