Review of Clown (2014) by Brian S — 03 Sep 2016
A pretty solid effort from Eli Roth. First time in a long time I wasn't annoyed by the main characters. They actually seemed like real people. The writing was decent enough, but the makeup effects are probably what really made this film a pleasurable experience.
You can't not enjoy watching a Clown mass murder children at a Chuckie Cheese. Never realized how creepy the lighting in that place was. Would probably pick it up on BD when it drops down to like 10 bucks.
If you're a Roth fan I definitely recommend it. Even if you're not but you enjoy clown movies and the like give it a redbox rental at the least. It's a fun waste of 100 mins.
