This might be my least favorite haneke film. its still better than most others but when dealing with a master like haneke, you need to grade on a curve. I really thought binoche was excellent but there was too much linnear v non linnear conflict that confused the crap ouf of me.

still, there were some great shots (simple shot of a half plowed field. brilliant).
