It's not a bad effort, but it begins far better than it ends. It's somewhat tonally uneven as well. There are moments that are probably supposed to be funny, but it felt out of place and forced into a film which was over-wise very dark in tone.
Narratively it isn't very well focused either, with many loose ends and questions left unanswered. Not the greatest bit of entertainment, but certainly not a bad watch either. 3.5/5*.
