Review of Collateral Damage (2002) by Max M — 15 Mar 2014
After the second viewing, Collateral Damage is a not bad Schwarzenegger vehicle but it's not one of his top best and not really a whole lot people talk about it that much and around it's release it had a lot of issues behind the scenes such as a delayed release date because of 9/11 since the movie involves terrorism.
The plot of Collateral Damage is about Gordy Brewer a Los Angeles firefighter who is going to pick up and meet his wife and son but is late and is stopped by who we later see as the villain and his wife and son are both killed in an explosion and so then Arnold goes to Colombia and get the bad guy and kick some ass.
Overall despite Collateral Damage's behind the scenes problems it's a good action movie, and is different for Schwarzenegger because it is just him playing a normal guy who gets revenge for the death of his wife and son but Collateral Damage has decent acting, decent screenplay, and decent action scenes that make it all around a decent underrated Schwarzenegger flick.
