Color Out of Space might just be the first really good, if not great, movie of this very young decade. It's an extremely gorgeous, visceral piece of filmmaking, and the sort of thing I expect to stick with me for a while.
If you're into John Carpenter or David Cronenberg at all, then this will be right up your alley. As far as Lovecraftian cosmic horror is concerned, this is about as good as you'll get.
