Review of Conan O'Brien Can't Stop (2011) by Brian C — 27 Oct 2011
.... and my love/admiration/man-crush/obsession with Conan grows. Guess what? He's human afterall! He's prone to depression; he's a REAL perfectionist; he can be one hurtful sum'bitch (especially to Andy and his assistant); he's really raw (watch him drop the F-Bomb a million times); and, he really can't stop, for some reason.
The silly man on TV is one side of Conan, and then there is the responsible side. In between there is a man who'll do anything for his fans, until the fans become pure assholes really. One dude wanted him to jump the barrier for a single picture? Another makes a Jew crack to a half-jew (Conan) and his manager, Jeff (full Jew), and Conan STILL helps the guy out! The moron was also Canadian too, so that stung a little.
It's a really great look into the underbelly of the greatest late-nighter since Letterman.
