Review of Count the Hours! (1953) by Paul D — 26 Oct 2011
I watched it but all I'll give it is it's watchable. The female characters couldn't be more polar opposites, it was just too annoying for me. Add to this a relatively boring job by the defense attorney and an innocent man that doesn't protest nearly enough and it doesn't go real well.
Two more mentions: 1.every time the "bad guy" shows up the music switches into this kind of horror film mode that is distracting as well as insulting 2.the crucial eleventh hour evidence is the fact that the police didn't acknowledge the TIME the witness heard the killer ranting about his deed? Really? No one asked him what TIME he heard this "early, before the bar opened" was good enough? It was two hours before the body was found, there would have been no need for this movie!
