Better than I thought it would be, mostly because it has wittier dialogue than the book and challenges shallow values in a way the source material never does. Constance Wu is well-cast as the "normal" girl, sandwiched between the ridiculous Awkwafina and the ridiculously pretty Gemma Chan.
