Really enjoyed this movie and for what it is (a very predictable rom com) it was well done, with funny and lovable characters. Not to give it away (and I don't think that is actually possible) it could also have been called "Asian Pride and Prejudice.
" I came away with a craving for gourmet Asian cuisine - delicious dishes were constantly featured throughout - and want to get to Singapore! This movie will do something for tourism in that country! And.
..might go jewelry shopping. ;). While I don't think there will be any Oscar nominations here, the story doesn't skip a beat, and the lavish settings deliver on the "crazy rich" part of viewer expectations.
Worth seeing on the big screen.
