The plot is riddled with holes, the characters you're meant to root for are awful people and needlessly bailed out, and the dialogue is often ridiculous. Liam Hemsworth's acting is laughable when his character needed to chew scenery.
Only Stuhlbarg, Platt, and Malkovich come out unscathed in this movie that should have been far better.
