As the beginning of the movie says, it is sort of a true story about Danny Collins, Al Pacino kills it as portraying this singer and getting into his later years and now he tried to make it work with his estranged son and family , manager and tryong to understand the importance of having a girlfriend closer to his age.
great storyline, very well played.
