While the Theatrical Cut had a lot left to be desired, the Director's Cut stays true to the vision that Frank Miller set out to create with his spectacular run in the 1980s. Does the film have problems in both cuts? Without a doubt.
But up to that point we had seen worse out of Marvel (*cough* Hasslehoff Nick Fury *cough*) and we have seen worse out of them since too (*cough* Fantastic 4 *cough*).
