Darkest Hour left me speechless. Gary Oldman gives a powerful one-of-a-kind performance as Winston Churchill, UK's Prime Minister - warts and all. Enjoyed watching his oratorical skills bring all those famous quotes come to life.
More importantly, this film is almost prophetic in its call to today's politicians to recognise that the darkest hour has indeed come to pass, and that we need leaders with stature for such a time as this.
Give this man his Oscar. Gary Oldman deserves it.
