Review of Dazed and Confused (1993) by David H — 23 Sep 2014
Definitely one of my desert island flicks, and by one of my favorite directors, Richard Linklater. The film gives you 24 hours in a Texas town on the last day of school in 1976. The richly-varied ensemble cast provides a kaleidoscopic view of high school without leaning too heavily on stereotypes.
Expertly written and with a kickin' soundtrack. Don't mistake this for American Pie or Half-Baked! It's way, way more.
