Review of Dead & Breakfast (2004) by Marco H — 18 Apr 2010
Surprising collection of b-rate support actors, Jeremy Sisto from 6 Feet Under, Jeffrey Dean Morgan from Watchmen and a variety of other actors you might recognize, one was even Anthony Hopkins son. This movie seemed to attempt at a zombie comedy set in a redneck back water town.
Its actually kinda funny at times, my favorite is the gas/singer/mechanic who sings funny little ditties in between some of the chapters. Unfortunately it never really hits a stride in the story or action.
Its more like a collection of redneck stereotypes and really cheezy gore effects. Its definitely a two drink minimum and better with friends to laugh with.
