Review of Deadpool 2 (2018) by Danny G — 14 Jan 2019
Deadpool has a ton of laughs with gags at every turn, with so many packed in, you can easily blink and miss some. The plot is engaging and you never know where it will go. The characters continue to be fun with Ryan Reynolds being the star of the show with his great 4th wall breaking and charismatic attitude however this overshadows the rest of the movie.
With so many new and old characters plus a lot of story to cover, the movie seems overfilled especially compared to the first which played it more simple. The humour and R rating also means it follows in the footsteps of other comic sequels like Kick Ass 2 which where they have to up the anti to controversial and gross out humour.
