Review of Dear Evan Hansen (2021) by St_Sgibbs — 26 Sep 2021

This movie is NOT as bad as the “critics” are sawing and it’s mostly aimed at the fact they think Ben is too old for the role. I didn’t get ANY of the subtle notes that the critics felt his acting gave a maliciousness to his character.

I think it was a well made movie and gave a proper ending that people can feel happy with. I think it’s more or less a plot subject that makes people uncomfortable. Suicide, depression, and mental illness is no joking matter and this movie does a well job of bringing it to light.

Please don’t listen to the critics and give this movie a chance.
