Review of Death Note (2017) by Michelle F — 24 Aug 2017
If I could give it less stars, I would. Instead of watching the machinations of a highly intelligent sociopath try to bring his world to light, we're watching the awkward awful bumblings of the too common modern day angry white boy American psychopath. I see enough of this in the day to day. I want my villains to be ruthless and unequivocal not wrecked and uneducated.
Willem Dafoe is exempt from this.
