Its fast, its funny, its charming beyond belief; Deep Rising isn't the most intelligent, thought provoking or truly terrifying creature feature out there. But it knows its place and is more than happy sitting the fence between goofy horror and even goofier action adventure.
QUICK FIRE SINGLE SENTENCE REVIEW = Say what you like about its acting, effects, plot layout and general originality but this film has a big heart and nothing bad can be said about that.
