This was a riveting mix of cop movie slash exorcist. It’s inspired by a nonfiction book ( not based on it) and an enormous license has been taken for the sake of entertainment. Well acted and atmospheric.
It presents the Catholic church and a priest in a very positive light so naturally, the critics hated it.
