Review of Despicable Me 3 (2017) by Jeremy G — 26 Feb 2018

Not quite as bad as Minions, but it certainly lack the heart of the first two Despicable Me movies. The thing that made the first 2 so great was it was able to balance quite well some heart and emotion with the wacky humor.

This movie is devoid of that heart and feels quite unsatisfying. The characters become more annoying and its really hard to care anymore. They also seem to rely more on the childish, potty-type humor and less on clever wittiness.

I honestly couldn't get into this movie and found it dull. This is one of the only movies that I watched in theaters that I have struggled to stay awake.
