With an all new cast I would have prefer it if they came out and say it was a reboot/reimagining of the Wimpy Kid movies. I get it, the kids in those first three movies were growing up fast but if your recasting literally every character, then it probably shouldn't be marketed as a sequel.
Unfortunately, how its marketed is one of the lesser problems. The movie itself unforunately suffers from it seeming more gimmicky even in comparison to the other movies and overall is not very successful in being that funny of a movie.
