Review of Die Hard: With a Vengeance (1995) by Ryan H — 09 Dec 2017
Unlike the previous film, which was sort of a rehash of the original, Die Hard: With a Vengeance takes a new road and benefits greatly from it. Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson boast great chemistry and both give terrific performances.
Jeremy Irons is perfect as Alan Rickman's (sort of) brother, giving Simon Gruber the same accent as and similar personality to Hans while still making the character his own. The film as a whole does suffer from a diminishing supply of fresh ideas, but it's great enough that it doesn't matter.
