I don't think the movie by all means sent the correct message against racial tentions. I think this movie advocated that violence was good even though it brought a terrible outcome. I hated the thought process through the riot and after the riot.
It makes me sick to my stomach how "Do the Right Thing" made the top 100 AFI's greastest movies list.
