Review of Doctor Sleep (2019) by Fadeblack — 14 Apr 2022
Surprisingly a very enjoyable and fun movie. In terms of style and theme it has very little, if anything to do with the Shining, which remains probably the best horror film ever made, but the two can be appreciated separately on their own merits.
Doctor Sleep is a bit of an 80's roadtrip horror bash, not to be taken too seriously, borrows a bit of a Lost Boys spirit, and is absolutely worth a watch.
