Review of Don't Blink (2014) by Richard L — 03 Jul 2015
Everyone does the best they can with what they have to work with in this low budget mystery. The story is interesting enough. A group of friends heads up to a lodge for the weekend and finds it deserted, despite having made reservations. As they explore the grounds, they find evidence that people were just there. When their own begin to vanish, the group begins to breakdown.
I liked the premise, even if it reminded me a little of the Doctor Who Weeping Angels episodes. The banter between friends was forced, and motivations seemed to change unexpectedly. Regardless, the movie worked for me.
