Review of Don't Look Up (1996) by Kyle S — 28 May 2011
Another intolerable, unforgivable "supernatural thriller." Everything about it is out-and-out bad. I assume, like most other Hideo Nakata works, that the original is stellar, and by this same logic, I should have assumed the American remake was a heap of garbage.
It would have saved me the time and heartache. Nonetheless, I'm a sucker for a spooky ten-second back story, despite how many times experience has shown me disappointment as the film itself pans out.
Here, I also bought in thanks to the Eli Roth cameo, and stayed because I am apparently an idiot.
