Downsizing - Review (2017).
The Good.
Matt Damon's performance is great and definitely makes up for his awful performance in Suburbicon.
Christoph Waltz performance is hilarious.
Hong Chau performance is the best thing in this movie.
Alexander Payne's Direction.
The Cameos are great.
The premise is original and great.
The whole scene explaining to go to Norway is fucking hilarious.
The Bad.
The Time Skips kinda mess up the pacing.
Kristen Wiig doesnt do shit in this movie.
The whole Downsizing process seems so complicated.
The Party Scene after Matt Damon takes Drugs is awful and the editing is bad.
Jason Sudeikis is barely in it.
The Poor side of the town is uninteresting.
The marketing kinda spoils some of the movie.
The $68 Million Budget for this movie.
Matt Damon and Hong Chau's romance is predictable.
Overall: Its definitely Alexander Payne's weakest film, its still quite enjoyable.
Overall Grade: C+.
