Review of Drowning Mona (2000) by Alexander C — 01 Dec 2012
I hated this movie when it first came out! After watching it again recently, I found myself laughing more. In this small town, the Dearly's are the butt of all jokes. Since everybody hates Mona Dearly (Bette Midler), they soon find themselves as a suspect in her murder. This is a dark and waaay twisted comedy.
My favorite line in this movie -.
"You know she's only 13, right?".
"Yeah. FINALLY.".
