Review of Dumb and Dumber (1994) by John B — 17 May 2014
Quite possibly the best comedy ever made. Jim Carey is in absolute blinding form and gives the performance of his career. Jeff Daniels compliments Carey perfectly and I don't think there's many people who could stand up against him and be as funny as Daniels did.
The good thing about this film is it doesn't get old. Unlike some 90's comedies it's aged very well and still delivers laughs nearly 20 years on.
It's a shame that they even tried to make a prequel with different actors. I hope the sequel which has both Carey and Daniels is better than the previous attempt in the franchise.
