Review of Earth Girls Are Easy (1988) by Mister O — 19 Mar 2018
Like a piece of bubblegum, this one tastes good for about 15 minutes before it loses its taste and your jaw starts to hurt. As vapid and empty as the film's setting, it wanders aimlessly from scene to scene, throwing meaningless quirks and soulless musical numbers at the viewer but nothing sticks.
There are fewer films that I can remember seeing where they had so much to talent on hand yet did so little to utilize it effectively.
