Review of East of Eden (1955) by Steve S — 29 Dec 2010
James Dean is completely idiosyncratic and hypnotizing in this. It's a brilliant tale of the need for parental acceptance and the grey areas between good and evil. This movie encapsulates the fact that we are all the end result of how we've been treated throughout our lives.
Most evil people have been made that way because of years of neglect and torment.
