To sum this movie in one word.

Captivating.

It's not easy to find a movie that has me chewing my nails, this movie was more than that, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, unlike some of my Fellow reviewers I found this movie inspirational not just because of who he is but because of who he was.

A kid who was told would never perform, told to give up sports, that he would never amount to anything but then to overcome all of these opinions and prove them all wrong.

I relate to this, as someone who grew up with autism my parents were told I would not be a social person that there was no point having a university savings because I would never get that far, I did better!

I completed a diploma in business management and finished the first year of my degree before obtaining a job in my field to which I have worked for almost 4 years now within a multimillion dollar company.

This is what Eddie the eagle is to me, a story of overcoming everyone's opinions and achieving what they believe is impossible.

And if that makes me a bad reviewer.... so be it..
