Review of Elevator to the Gallows (1958) by Narges M — 13 Feb 2012
Everyone forgetting something at somewhere and having to pay for it! That's the main force of the story. It was hard to believe for the military bad-ass to forget the rope and then sleeping in the elevator before completely searching it (and finding the door on the floor).
I can assume that in 1957 all of these ideas in the story were brilliant and this was a fantastic thriller. But it's not in 2011 anymore!
