The BOPE is part Swat Team, part DEA, part Death Squad & all Bad Ass! According to this hard hitting movie they forgo human rights but are the most honest cops in Rio. This unflinching look at these officers would be a perfect companion piece to the 2002 film Cidade de Deus (City of God).
I can't wait to see the 2010 sequel Elite Squad 2 (Tropa de elite 2).
