Review of Enemy Mine (1985) by Dave J — 18 May 2012
Essentially a movie about racism; it really had me with the idea of it all the way up until the final half-hour of the film at which point it feels almost like the studio tried to tack on a generic ending to appeal to whatever non-existent demographic they want to believe eats that stuff up.
A nice idea, ruined by some terrible choices. Lou Gossett Jr.'s performance is the only thing that makes the film worth watching.
