I really did not enjoy this movie. For a while my hopes were high, I could imagine how great it wasn't going to be. However, this movie lacked a lot of information and scenes that were in the book.
From what I saw, the director basically cut out the entire first half of the movie, not even showing Eragon's training. Another thing I realized was that the director even made up scenes in the movie.
In my point of view, you can't make a 500 page book into an Hour and 39 minute movie.
