Review of Escaflowne: The Movie (2000) by Amy P — 07 Feb 2008
It's hard to love this movie if you compare it directly to the series. But if you can embrace it for what it is, it's a worthwhile flick to see, although it feels a bit compressed. The beautiful animation and the soundtrack more than make up for that shortcoming, however.
