Michel Gondry has always been hit or miss for me but with him at his best combined with Charlie Kaufman's expectedly original and creative script and an outstanding lead performance from Jim Carrey, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is an extremely complex and worthwhile allegory that is just as fantastical as it is real.
