Creative, thought-provoking, fun, and original: a blend of all of those aspects is rare in modern cinema, yet Everything Everywhere All at Once manages to be all of those things and more. The acting and cinematography are top notch, the multiverse story is insanely innovative and wacky, and the writing is so perfectly done and impactful.
Furthermore, while the comedy comes rapid-fire at points and lands almost every time, the film takes its time for slower, more introspective scenes that leave one wondering about how their multiversal selves are and how we can make the most of this life we have here, even if it may not be as impressive as we hoped.
This is a must watch film, and, as of now, my favorite of 2022 without question.
