This film is truly awful. The only thing to take away from this is that, in the event of an alien invasion ditch your incredibly annoying children immediately. Otherwise they will continually put your life in peril through their ridiculously stupid actions and if that doesn't kill you, their incessant screeching of "daddy i'm scared!" or "mommy don't go!" will have you reaching for the nearest alien rifle to blow your own brains out.

If you can make it to the end of the film there is a twist, but most likely you'll be on your knees praying for a real life extinction of humanity to put you out of your misery to really notice it.
