Review of Extinction (2018) by Martin P — 18 Sep 2018
A questionable premise (despite decently executed twist), mixed with a preachy moral message, and tired sci-fi clichés resulted in an unfulfilling, tedious viewing experience. The acting was bland, the dialogue un-engaging, the pacing was insufferably slow in the first act with nothing in the way of interesting characters or cinematography to carry the viewer through, and the children were obnoxious, their foolish actions often serving as the main source of a scene's tension.
