Review of Faces Of Gore 2 (2000) by Shinyhappypurple . — 08 Sep 2010

It's a bit difficult to write something fresh about such a movie. As one might supposed FoG 2 is almost canonical explample of shockumentary which show explicit pictures of slaughtered men, taken from police materials. Is it wicked? Maybe yes, however people always have been fascinated with death and looked opportunities to examine it closer.

Movie is divided into three chapter - Car accidents, suicide and murder. Each of them present a few cases which are scrupulously described and commented. And there is a general flaw of the movie - the narrator. Aforementioned person, Dr Vincent van Gore is annoying because his commments try to be shocking and sinister. Unfortunatelly, in most cases they are rather inept and incoherent. The movie would be more disturbing if there will be no leading voice, only some text indroduction and gloomy ambient music.
