Review of Fahrenheit 451 (2018) by Mike R — 28 Nov 2018
Fahrenheit 451 surely has something to offer but here the execution is all over the place, having not read the book and from what I gather from people who actually did, this film does a good job of absolutely ignoring everything that the book is all about, but let's step out from its source material for a second, suddenly we have a brand new look at it, it does hold its own when not associated with its source material due to powerful acting by mainly Shannon and Jordan.
Having said all of that, this film falls victim of how good the book was, but on its own, it feels very solid, I'd like to think that I enjoy it in a way.
