Review of Family Guy Presents: It's a Trap! (2010) by Scott F — 29 Feb 2012
In the opening crawl, Seth McFarlane jokes that he wasn't really interested in making this. He cracks a couple "we just phoned it in" jokes and then the movie begins . . . Which is when we, the audience, realize there were no jokes in the opening crawl.
He was serious. It's just not funny. I smiled a couple times, but everything is tedious, obvious, dull, and dumb. It's time McFarlane moved on from Family Guy and Star Wars. He seems to have lost all interest.
And if he's not interested, why should we be?
