Review of Family Guy Presents: It's a Trap! (2010) by Johnny N — 25 Jan 2012
Stop! It's a trap!!!! Ok there I said it, alright. Anyways, Family Guy adds another star wars spoof to its collection, and its the final star wars full length spoof for now. Now is is worth seeing, not really.
A few months ago, I couldn't wait for this movie to come out. Then a month after I heard about the film, I started hearing bad things about it. Finally, I got the Blue Harvest Trilogy collection on dvd for Christmas.
I opened that box set right away, took out "It's A Trap," popped it in my dvd player, and watched it. I was never the same after I saw this film. "Family Guy: It's A Trap" is definitely the worst out of the Family Guy Star Wars series, but it has it's moments.
This addition to the trilogy was rushed, and not payed attention to that much. Even Seth McFarlene admits that this addition was bad, he puts it in the floating credits in the beginning of the film. Anyway, this film has its moments, but its just bad.
Look, I got this as a gift, I have it now, so there, and besides, the trilogy was only $25. So its kind of fun to see this addition to the trilogy, but your better off watching the last two installments, which comes with the box set.
So just that your aware, this film is a trap to many viewers of Family Guy and other people. My final TOMATOEMETER rating for "Family Guy: It's A Trap" is 46%.
