A pleasant surprise that contained an intriguing story line that doesn't go quite where you expect it to. There is dark scenery which is a constant throughout the film, and it does get a bit dreary at times, making you wish for something other than grey tones.

The numerous creatures were enjoyable to see, and nearly all the characters have interesting and quirky personalities that make them endearing and easy to root for. Not everyone, but most. After viewing this one, you will want to see another.
