Review of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016) by Ben B — 06 Jan 2019
Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, we have gotten to the point now that it ultimately feels like Warner Bros are using the Harry Potter franchise to get millions and millions of dollars because this movie is absolutely trash.
Everything about this movie sucks really badly, the cast felt joyless, the characters were one-dimensional and unlikeable mostly because we didn't have any introduction about these people and we didn't know that much about them therefore I didn't connect with them but Kowalski was sometimes a fun guy and provided a few humourous jokes, the visual effects were overused and tiresome and produced colourless and bland cinematography.
But the story was it's main problem because it was so boring, there was so many uninteresting plot lines, which made the film extremely confusing, there are so many times where the film was very monotonous that I drifted off so I lost track of what was happening.
Lastly, the dialogue was uninspired and I could barely understand what they were saying. Overall this movie is an unexciting, achromatic and saturnine swamp of disasters with unimaginative characters and an awful plot and throughout the presentation I just wished that I was rewatching the older and better Potter films.
Well, at least we had that cute little scene where the Duck Billed Platypus hunted for gold and a few funny moments with Kowalski. Final statement - Burn this in the dungeons of Hell, this movie is an outrageous entry in the Wizardry World and should of been the last!
